A Note On Black Friday

We know this might be unusual, but we won’t be doing any major discounts or sales this Black Friday, and we wanted to take a moment to explain why. 

We use incredibly high-quality natural materials, source them responsibly and ensure people are paid fairly for their work. We also try to price our products honestly, consistently and sensibly throughout the year – this means we don't have huge profit margins to cut into for flash sales. 

Our newly introduced Outlet is where we have pieces that we’re winding down, in order to make room for new products, and we’ll be saying goodbye to these permanently. We have never marked down the prices of our bedding, and never plan to.

Having said that, we know that at this time of year, everyone is looking to get ahead on Christmas shopping, so we wanted to give a small gesture to our community of comfort addicts. Between Monday 20th - Monday 27th November, a small surprise will land in inboxes to our email subscribers, so if you aren’t already, make sure you’re on the list.

Trees For Life

Since 2019, we have been donating trees to The Bedfolk Grove, and we pledge to do the same over the Black Friday period this year, too. 

For every order over £99 that we sell between Monday 20th – Monday 27th November, we’ll be planting a tree in partnership with our chosen environmental charity, Trees For Life. For full transparency, this costs us around £5 per tree. So far, we've planted more than 2300 trees. You can check out the Bedfolk Grove in the Scottish Highlands here. 

Our trees are carefully planted alongside other native trees, in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands, where they help restore the Caledonian Forest and its wildlife.

We know it’s not trendy any more. We know lots of other companies have promised to do this and plant trees that aren’t native to the land they’re planted in, just to say that they’re doing it. 

But we’ll keep doing this every year, with an organisation we believe in. We’re not just saying that, either: you can see exactly how we’ve contributed to the grove over the year and with each campaign we’ve done here.
