Terms & Conditions
Bedfolk Limited (company number 10820067) • bedfolk.com
These terms explain how shopping with Bedfolk works. We’ve kept them as simple as possible. If you have any questions, our Customer Care team is happy to help.
1. About Bedfolk and these terms
Bedfolk Limited operates bedfolk.com. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases through our website and to your use of it. Our Delivery & Returns Policy and Privacy Policy provide further information about shopping with us.
These terms are written for customers buying as consumers. Business or trade orders may be subject to separate terms.
2. Our products
We take care to describe our products and show their colours accurately. Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens and natural materials, and reasonable variations may occur.
Product availability, specifications and prices may change. The details shown when you place your order will form the basis of your purchase, subject to our order acceptance terms below.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in your basket. We’ll acknowledge your order by email. We normally accept it when we confirm dispatch, unless we have expressly agreed a different acceptance point for a made-to-order product.
Occasionally, we may be unable to accept an order - for example, if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, a genuine pricing error has occurred or we reasonably suspect misuse. If we’ve taken payment for an order we cannot fulfil, we’ll refund it.
Please check your contact, delivery and order details carefully. If you need to make a change, contact us promptly; changes may not be possible once an order has been processed or production has begun. We may limit quantities or decline orders that we reasonably believe are intended for unauthorised resale.
4. Prices and payment
Prices, accepted payment methods, applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown before checkout. Payment options may include Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna, where available. If you choose Klarna, its own terms and eligibility checks also apply.
We may correct genuine errors in product details or pricing. If an error affects an order, we’ll contact you to explain your options; we won’t change the agreed price of an accepted order without your agreement, except where required by law.
5. Delivery
Delivery options, charges, destinations and estimated times are shown on our Delivery & Returns page and at checkout. If an item is delayed, we’ll let you know and explain your options.
Unless we agree a different delivery period with you, we’ll deliver within the time required by consumer law. Responsibility for your order normally passes to you when it reaches you or someone you’ve nominated to receive it.
For international deliveries, applicable shipping arrangements, taxes and duties will be explained where available before purchase.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
We hope you love everything you order from Bedfolk. We offer free UK returns on eligible products under our Delivery & Returns Policy, alongside your statutory rights.
Changing your mind
For most products bought online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving them, followed by a further 14 days to return them. We offer a 30-day returns window for eligible products, starting from the date of delivery. This includes your statutory cancellation period and does not affect your legal rights.
Returning your order
To be applicable for a return, items must be unused, unwashed and fully resalable, with original packaging, tags and accessories. These additional conditions do not limit your statutory rights, including your right to inspect goods as the law permits.
Refunds
We’ll process eligible refunds to your original payment method. Where you use your statutory cancellation rights, the legal refund timescales and any required refund of standard delivery charges apply.
Some genuinely personalised products have different change-of-mind rules, explained in Section 7. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact our Customer Care team. Your statutory rights always remain unaffected.
For instructions on arranging a return, please visit our Returns Portal.
7. Made-to-order and personalised products
Some Bedfolk products are made especially for you, to your chosen specifications.
Where a product is made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, it cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged simply because you’ve changed your mind. We’ll make this clear before you place your order.
If you’ve made a mistake, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help before production begins.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected, including where a product is faulty or not as described.
8. Gift cards
Bedfolk physical and digital gift cards can be redeemed at bedfolk.com. Gift cards can be used towards full or part payment of an order; any remaining balance can be paid using another accepted payment method.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded, except where required by law.
Please keep your gift card details safe. If your gift card is lost, stolen or damaged, contact our Customer Care team and we’ll do our best to help.
9. Offers, promotions and customer rewards
From time to time, we may offer discounts, special offers or personalised rewards to our customers. Offers may have their own terms, including eligibility requirements, expiry dates, minimum spend or product exclusions. These will be made clear when the offer is available.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined with other offers, exchanged for cash or applied to previous orders. We may occasionally offer personalised benefits to individual customers as a thank you for shopping with Bedfolk.
Competitions and giveaways
We occasionally run competitions and giveaways with their own terms, including eligibility, entry requirements, prizes and closing dates. These will appear alongside the relevant competition.
We may amend or withdraw an offer or competition where reasonably necessary, without affecting existing legal rights or accepted orders.
10. Mailing list and marketing communications
We’d love to keep you up to date with collections, launches, inspiration and special offers. You can join our mailing list through our website or when ordering, and must be 18 or over to subscribe.
Where permitted by law, we may also send relevant updates about products you’ve viewed, items in your basket or purchases you’ve made. Depending on your preferences and applicable law, communications may include email, post, text messages or WhatsApp.
You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to a marketing text or contacting Customer Care. Essential order confirmations and delivery updates will still be sent. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
11. Reviews, content and intellectual property
Content on our website, including photography, product descriptions, illustrations, designs and branding, belongs to Bedfolk. You may browse and share our website for personal, non-commercial use, but our content must not be reproduced commercially without permission.
If you submit a review, photograph or other content for publication, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe another person’s rights. You give us permission to display it on our website and use it in connection with Bedfolk marketing, subject to applicable law and any additional permissions requested. We may moderate or remove unlawful, misleading or inappropriate content.
12. Website use and third-party links
Please use our website responsibly and don’t interfere with its operation, security or other customers’ experience, including through unlawful access, malicious code, scraping that disrupts the site or misuse of others’ information.
Our website may link to independent third-party sites or services. We don’t control their content or privacy practices, although nothing here removes any responsibility we have under applicable law for products or services we supply.
13. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, including marketing, cookies and your rights. We handle your information in accordance with applicable data protection law.
14. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer or excludes any responsibility that Bedfolk cannot legally exclude.
For information about returns, refunds or faulty products, please see our Delivery & Returns Policy or contact our Customer Care team.
15. General legal provisions
If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
These terms are between you and Bedfolk. No other person has the right to enforce them unless required by law.
If we don’t immediately enforce a particular term, that doesn’t mean we’ve waived our right to do so later. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
16. Changes to these terms
We may occasionally update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our products, services or legal requirements.
The terms that apply to your order will be those in place when your order is accepted, unless we agree otherwise with you or a change is required by law.
17. Governing law and contact
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any additional consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
