New Colour Klaxons: Introducing Sky & Sage

We're excited to share two new signature colours that have launched as part of our SS24 Collection.

Meet Sage, a gentle new green that's soft and mellow – reminiscent of natural spring hues and bringing a sense of calm and restfulness to any bedroom. Or, if it's a pure blue you're after, we'd like to introduce you to Sky: fresh, bold and modern, it’s the coolest, refreshing colourway we’ve all been talking about.

We chatted to Bedfolk's Creative Director and Founder, Jo, and Product Lead, Emma about the process of creating these dreamy new shades and how to style them at home.

What was the inspiration for Sage and how will you be styling it? 

Jo: Moss (our khaki green) has become one of our most popular core colours, so we’ve been waiting to add some more green tones to our collection. Spring felt like the perfect time to bring in this gentle but fresh shade, which layers perfectly with so many of our existing colours.I’ll be layering Sage up with our new Mellow Cotton Throw – the dreamiest comfort combo for Spring.

And what about Sky?

Jo: We’re thrilled with how Sky has translated onto our bedding styles, and it’s secretly my new favourite Bedfolk colour. The freshness of Sky invokes a feeling of summery days post-beach, and I cannot wait to layer it up with Clay in my bedroom this Spring. 

Can you tell us a bit about the design process behind the SS24 colours?

Emma: When developing new colours, we take a lot of inspiration from our natural surroundings as well as how we engage and interact with the new season. For us, a step into Spring means opening our windows to that first breath of fresh air, the familiar scent of freshly cut grass and chasing the evening sun spending time with family and friends. We bring nature into our homes, and we wanted to reflect that in our new collection with Sage and Sky.
